Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on

The Chairman welcomed Councillors and members of the public

5) Minutes of the previous meetings held on 26th May
The minutes were approved and signed by the chairman.
6) Election of Vice Chairman
L.Bowden was elected unanimously
6) Matters Arising
Cleaning of the FP to the garage by Highways and arrangements for the disposal of detritus was in hand –
L.Bowden
7) Co-option of Councillor
Michael Neil was co-opted by unanimous vote
8) County & District Councillors’ Reports
None
9) Parish Councillors Reports
At Troopers Lodge garage, the distinction between highway and forecourt was unclear creating a potential
hazard.
10) Planning
Caravan – an update from CDC Planning was forwarded by CW. Resolved – that the caravan should be
monitored for evidence of residential use.
11) Ash Die Back Scheme
Resolved – TD to liaise with Clerk over numbers & varieties of trees required.
12) CSW Speed Watch Cameras
The scheme seems advantageous in principle. Resolved – to gather more information & pursue an application
subject to later approval– AV
13) Church Donation
Resolved – to make a £250 donation to the Parochial Church Council for the cutting of the grass in St.
Lawrence’s churchyard.
