The Old School is a multi-purpose village hall located in the centre of the village. It offers up-to-date amenities including Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, audio-visual facilities, versatile rooms on both floors and adjacent parking.
It hosts a wide variety of events, ranging from community functions and private celebrations to clubs, dance groups, movie screenings and more.
The building is leased from St Lawrence Church to the Old School Committee, who operate for the benefit of the community. The committee also organise major village events, including the annual Open Gardens and the Village Fête.
Hire charge for the hall, £10 per hour for village residents, £12 for non-residents.
