The Educational Trust

The Educational Trust is dedicated to supporting the educational development of the young residents of the parish, offering financial assistance to those under the age of 25, to help them to participate in educational pursuits.

This is achieved through the provision of individual grants. These grants cover a wide spectrum of educational activities, ensuring that individuals have the financial support that they need to experience and pursue the learning experiences on offer to them. Whether it’s funding for courses, equipment or specialist tuition, the help offered is designed to aid growth and development.  This includes providing assistance to individuals who may require additional support due to specific educational needs, such as dyslexia.

A modest grant is also awarded to those embarking on their tertiary education journey, at college or university, aiming to alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with it.

To finance their work, the Trust prudently manages investments that generate annual income, exclusively earmarked for the purpose of aiding young residents within the Parish in their educational journey.

Funding can be applied for by letter, text, e-mail, phone or directly to one of the trustees. They don’t require information about family finances. All requests are treated in confidence and all information regarding grant applications is held securely.
