Coronation Picnic May 2023 – Bourton-on-the-Hill Parish Council

To celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III, the village came together for a picnic in the Community Garden adjacent to the allotments. After the preceding day of rain, the clouds cleared and we were treated to an afternoon of warm sunshine. The children eagerly planted a commemorative native crab apple, with the breathtaking Cotswold views behind them.

The side of a lady's face has been face painted with curling bunting and white dots. The pennants have been painted in alternate red, white and blue, and one with the union flag. Silver glitter has been added to make it sparkle.
