Notice of the Parish Council Meeting
ALL MEMBERS OF THE PARISH COUNCIL ARE HEREBY SUMMONED TO ATTEND AN ONLINE ZOOM MEETING OF
BOURTON ON THE HILL PARISH COUNCIL ON TUESDAY 4
TH MAY 2021 AT 6:30PM FOR THE TRANSACTION OF
THE FOLLOWING BUSINESS AND TO FOLLOW THE COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS.

AGENDA
1 Election of chairman and vice-chairman
2 Welcome and apologies for absence:
3 Declaration of Councillors interests for items on the agenda
4 Approval of the minutes of the meeting of the Parish Council held on March 30th 2021.
5 Matters arising from the previous minutes:
5.1 The potholes just below the Longborough turning have been repaired.
5.2 The new defibrillator cabinet at the Old School has been fitted.
5.3 The signs at the Blockley turn still need to be replaced.
5.4 Traffic speed sensors are still to be agreed with Highways.
6 In accordance with Standing Orders public speaking will be limited solely to items on the agenda
7 County and District Council reports: elections and new bin licences due shortly.
8 Finance:
8.1 Finance report by the Responsible Finance Officer
8.2 Expenditure items paid by BACS and in accordance with the budget: Mark Penfold for mowing the verges
£75.00, Lazenby IT £1.87 software security subscription, Amanda Smith £75.00 for payroll services, Clerk’s
annual office expenses £45.00 and £59.99 annual Microsoft 365 subscription, Batsford Estate £6.00 rent
for the allotments, BHIB Council Insurance £170.00 public indemnity insurance, Society of Local Council
Clerks £80.00 annual subscription, Gloucestershire Association of Parish and Town Councils £84.22
annual subscription.
9 Highways:
9.1 New speedwatch team is now underway.
10 Review of the latest planning applications:
21/01761/TPO to fell an ash tree and reduce height and reach of beech trees down Keytes Lane.
21/01306/FUL Full application for erection of a grain store and the creation of an area of hardstanding at
Bourton Hill House, Bourton-On-The-Hill, GL56 9T.
